About Listening To Horses (and everyone else!)

Hello to everyone!

This is my first time organizing a meetup group! My thoughts and goals when I started were all about creating a space for a community of people to grow, to share their stories and experience in an atmosphere free of judgment.

There is space here for any person with an interest in communication - with animals, humans or within themselves! From skeptics to experts, we are all drawn to this space because we feel a desire to expand our current experience. We know that there is more to see, more to feel, and animals provide us with a loving catalyst to assist us as we learn more about how we fit in our world.

The practice of Animal Communication has gained popularity over the past few years, including the phenomena of "Natural Horsemanship", the Horse Whisperer, and the Dog Whisperer. Communicating with animals as equals is natural to me. It took me years to understand and accept that so many people were not aware of their own ability to communicate when I knew they were just as capable as me.

Throughout my entire life I have talked with and worked with many people who judge themselves inadequate to understand or participate in the kind of communication demonstrated by the gurus of these "disciplines". I am here to remind people that we all have the ability to communicate and to facilitate connection with the animals, who always communicate with integrity and a complete lack of judgment.

One of my primary goals is to demystify communication, to reconnect people with their innate ability to listen, hear and understand, to know what they wish to express, and to help them feel safe in their expression. Simply put, I want to help you remember what it feels like to be a part of the community of the natural world and help you find comfort in both speaking your truth and hearing others speak their truth. The animals are assistants and guides of the highest integrity.

Every meetup, every session is unique and guided completely by the individuals who show up and the conversation that happens at that time. I will serve as a facilitator to help guide members to recognize effective tools and techniques within the stories we share, as well as bring attention to belief systems and mind-sets that interfere with clarity and good communication.

Whether you are the kind of person who speaks English to your pets and you KNOW they understand, or you have clients who look to you for guidance, or you just can't bring yourself to believe that any of this is true, you have found your way here for a reason!
